My hometown is once again in the spotlight, this time with the Anaheim (Mighty) Ducks hockey team winning the coveted Stanley Cup!  Looks like this time, they hired the right mercenaries to play for the team, such as the Niedermayer brothers and Chris Pronger.  Even the Governator  got excited during his speech when he said (paraphrasing) `During the season the team kept saying “I’ll be back” and finally we said “Hasta La Vista, Baby!”`

Although I didn’t follow the team closely this year, I did hear about the hype and buzz about the players, and the change of ownership to a real hockey fan.  It was a great surprise that they made it to the Stanley Cup playoffs, let alone won it.  Here’s looking forward to next season!
