Effective sun screen protection

June 22nd, 2007 · No Comment

Sun Flower ImageSummer’s here!  The time to spend more time outside, walking on the beach, play more golf, or just sit around taking in the sun.  I’m fair skinned and I like to keep it that way.  I don’t want to get darker skin, nor do I want to get skin cancer.  Hence, I’ve used quite a bit of sun block lotions.  Personally I like the ones that leaves my skin smooth and smell good, like the Neutrogena ones.  Usually I don’t give too much thought on their effectiveness — until today.  The people at CosmeticsDatabase.com studied a list of sun screens  and ranked them by their effectiveness.   The Neutrogena lotions are health hazards!  Although they’re not sun hazard,  I’m still surprised and somewhat dismayed.  Looks like I’ll be looking for the best one on the list: Badger SPF 30.
