New media abilities are very impressive for me. Look few years back and it is clearly visible that mobile technology came a long way from simple text massages to complicated network with feedback.

Thanks Rudy! I’ll check it out for sure. It can’t hurt to make my blog smartphone friendly. I’m sure I can’t actually update my blog with a Blackberry, and considering the length of most of my posts, I can’t imagine spending that much time hitting the back button on those tiny buttons on my phone to make a post. Darn long fingernails make it tough.

@David: Twitpic, although popular, is not that powerful. I can’t delete the photo, nor edit the caption. I think being able to post directly to my own blog for Photos from a Smartphone is a better idea.

@Lin: I’ve updated my blog post to include the links to the WP plugins that supports iPhone. I think the docs said it will also look good in Blackberry and other smartphones, though I can’t confirm that. Maybe you want to check it out?

Rudy, I’ve read somewhere about there being a way to make blogs readable on smartphones but I don’t remember where I read it or how it is done. I have a smartphone, a Blackberry, not an iPhone. I’ll have to go search for information on how to make a blog readable on a smartphone. I doubt I’d ever try to do a blog post with my phone, but having my blog readable on a smartphone is a very good thing. Good for you!

I don't have a cell phone, but I just signed up for TwitPic and learned you can post images and (twitpic) automatically post them to your twitter account. Wordpress may be able to do that too even with self hosting by posting by email, so if you can post a link in your email, you can post a link that way too.
