I’m a sysadmin. My hours are flexible and I can work at any odd hours. In my previous job, I did work full time at home for about a year and as part of the company’s requirement, I had to set up a workstation. It started with the basics: a desk, a chair, a phone, a computer, a high speed modem. Now that I’ve moved to a larger home, I could have a little more elaborate setup (pictured). My desk is surrounded with bookcases, plus drawers and cupboards for storage. This furniture also includes slideable mini-tower PC and Laserjet printer trays. I also have room on the left for my Linux server with an assortment of stuff such as wireless hub, UPS, subwoofer, etc. I have worked long hours with this setup and I am quite happy with it!
