Seven Weird Facts About Me

Imagine that, I’m tagged with another meme. This time, it’s from Andrew of MyBlogRules. This one takes a little more thinking because I don’t consider myself as weird. I’m just a regular guy with a regular life. I have to dig deep, so pardon me if some of these don’t sound weird at all.

  1. I can lick my own nose.
  2. I love horror movies. I hate romatic-comedy movies.
  3. I love romatic-comedy movies. I hate horror movies.
  4. I can only sleep on the left side of my face.
  5. I like meatballs. Any meatballs!
  6. I’m not physically flexible or athletic (I’m a nerd). But I can do the kip up.
  7. I like to match the colors of my belt and shoes.

There you have it. Now I get to tag the people I admire: Melissa, Rebecca, James, Laura, and Jay (sorry I tagged you twice, dude!) My goal with the tags is to get to know my fellow bloggers. It’ll be such a treat if any one of these folks will actually do this.

    Thanks for the tag, (even though it was to James) we’re a step ahead of you. Our weirdness is waiting in the cue and will be up next week :)

    Hi Harrison. Cool! Looking forward to read about your weirdness! Is it going to be a two-for-one deal? ;-)

    Yup, each of us did one.

    I like your picture too, I saw that on I can has cheezburger the other day. That’s a great site, even if it is silly.

    I’m not big on romantic comedies either. My DVD collection consists of war movies, fantasy and action flicks, not so romantic comedy, and a few gritty dramas thrown in for good measure.

    I remembered an episode of WKRP in Cincinnati where Herb Tarlek (not exactly the fashionable type) was criticized by Jenny Marlow (Loni Anderson) that he matched his shoes with his belt. For some reason, that sort of stuck in the back of my mind. Maybe because Herb wears ugly white shoes and white belt. Or even having both made from the same skin material. Anyway, that was why I thought it was weird.

    Funny how small things like that stick in your mind. Now you’ve got me wondering what’s stuck in my head like that.

    Nice job, Rudy! Thanks for taking part. And yeah, you’re right. Those are so not weird. The nose licking is a talent (I’ve tried many times in my life and never once came close). The only other one you listed that’s weird is the sleeping on the left side of your face. So I guess by not having too many weird facts, that in itself makes you weird!

    @Harrison : what is the word when I recall something that is stuck in my head? Epiphany? Deja vu? Or is it simply just recollection?

    @Andrew : I guess I am my worse critic. :-)
